This is the second part of a survey mite lifespans initiated last year (Zhang & Fan 2021). series was launched to collect information on lifespan and related data across taxa, with aim stimulate more research both patterns mechanisms aging The first covered other life history for Oribatida, Winterschmidtiidae, Eriophyoidea, Tydeidae, Anystidae, Cheyletidae Blattisociidae provides surveys three major families: Tetranychidae (Li et al. 2022), Laelapidae 2022) Phytoseiidae (Han 2022). third in 2023 will complete this series.
